Serving Charles Town Baptist Church 2009 - Present
Pastor Brian Hotaling
A native of New York state, Brian's first career was as a soldier in the US Army. After his retirement from the military in 2004, he pastored a church in Louisiana for five years prior to coming to Charles Town in November of 2009.
He is a graduate of Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia and Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, Georgia, and plans are underway to go back to seminary for a doctoral degree.
Brian's ministry is centered on teaching the Bible as the Word of God (2 Timothy 2:15 ) and equipping believers to live out the Bible in everyday life (Ephesians 4:11-12.)
It is the Spirit of God and the Word of God working together that causes followers of Jesus to experience the fullness of living the Christian life. With a healthy sense of humor and a unique approach to preaching, Brian feels that his ministry at Charles Town Baptist is exactly where God wants him to be.
He and his wife Kim have three daughters. Brian enjoys cycling, fishing, golfing and football.
